Sync Issues
What to check when data looks stale or missing.
A repo's numbers look stale
New activity syncs via webhook near-instantly, with a 15-minute polling sweep as a backstop. If a repo hasn't updated in longer than that, check Settings → Integrations → GitHub — the GitHub App may have lost access if it was uninstalled or the repo was transferred/renamed.
A newly connected repo shows no history yet
Large repos can take a while to finish their initial backfill. Backfill progress is shown per-repo on the integrations page; reports for that repo will be incomplete until it finishes.
Someone's activity is split across two profiles
This happens when a person's GitHub commit email, Jira account email, or PagerDuty user email don't match across systems — identity linking is by email. Fix it without waiting on them to align emails: from Settings → Teams, find the duplicate row, unlink the mismatched Jira/PagerDuty identity from it, then link it to the correct person instead. That override sticks — it won't get silently re-matched away by a later sync.
A report or nav item is missing for someone
That's almost always a permissions gap, not a bug. Check their role from Settings → Roles — see granular permissions for how report-level and team-scoped access combine.
