My View
Your own PRs, reviews, and cycle time — no team comparison.
My View, in the main sidebar, shows a signed-in engineer their own PRs merged, reviews given, repos touched, and cycle time — filtered to just that person, with no ranking or comparison against teammates. It's separate from the Reports section for exactly that reason: every report in that library either compares people or is scoped by team, and My View deliberately never does either.
What's real today
PRs merged, PRs reviewed, repos worked in, commit volume, the cycle time / review responsiveness trend charts, and the "Impact across repos" Sankey diagram all come from your own connected GitHub data, the same query layer every report uses — just filtered down to one person instead of a team or the whole org.
The Focus Time tile, the written "this period in review"-style summaries, and Suggested Goals are early placeholder content, not computed from your data yet.
Access
My View is controlled by its own permission, separate from reports.view

four built-in role templates grant it by default, since it only ever shows
you your own data.
My View replaced the old fallback where someone without People or Metrics access still got a link straight to their own developer profile. That fallback is gone — People and the Metrics catalog now require their own permission to view at all (no more self-only exception), and My View is the one place left to see your own activity without them.
